What is Microblading?

Microblading is the Art of Cosmetic Tattooing procedure used on the eyebrow area. Eyebrows are recreated strand-by-strand using lifelike strokes applied directly onto the skin. The strokes accurately replicates hair reshaping your eyebrows. The treatment replaces long mornings in front of the mirror and many eyebrow pencils. It assures perfectly shaped and balanced brows all-day, everyday.

Is Microblading painful?

Some people are more sensitive to pain than others. Before and during the procedure we use topical anesthetics (numbing creams ) that are FDA approved. It takes a couple of minutes for your skin to absorb the anesthetics. Once numbing cream is absorbed, the sensation is minimal. On a scale of 1 to 10, with “1” being no discomfort, clients often experience between a 2 or 3 pain level during the treatment. Other factors such as menstrual cycles can also affect level of sensitivity.

What is a Microblading procedure?

The specialist will first draw your eyebrows by hand using a measuring tool, making sure your brows are symmetrical. We will personalize your brow, taking into the account your facial structure, your existing shape and your preference.
After, topical numbing cream is applied. Numbing cream takes approximately 10 - 20 minutes to take effect. Then, the specialist will use a sterile microblading pen and delicately scratch the “hair” strand-by-strand.

The entire time of the treatment is approximately two hours.

How long is the downtime?

There is no downtime, however the brow will take about 10-14 days to fully heal. The brow may appear darker after the treatment, but will lighten 30-40% during the healing period. Please follow the "After Care" instructions and schedule an appointment for a Final Touch-up session within 3-6 weeks.

What is Final Touch-up session?

Microblading is a two-step process. It consists of an initial treatment and a follow-up Final Touch-up session. A Final Touch-up session is necessary to set shape and color. We will build on the color that has been lost and/or absorbed by your skin. We will also fill in the gaps and shape your brow, perfecting it further more. The Final Touch-up session is the same as the original treatment, only slightly shorter.

Can I have an allergic reaction ?

Some people may be allergic to pigment. The chances of having an allergic reaction are less than a quarter of one percent (0.25%). However, we do offer a Patch Test  to our clients if they don’t feel comfortable or they not sure if they are allergic to the pigment. The Patch Test  will be applied to the scalp area. After the patch test we would wait about a week to see if there is any allergic reaction. If there isn't any allergic reaction, we can preform the procedure.

How long do results last?

Results can last from 12 to 24 months, fading gradually without any discoloration. Longevity depends on a variety of different factors, such as, skin type, color of pigment, lifestyle and aftercare treatment.

Is Microblading safe?

We only use highest-grade pharmaceutical pigments. Our pigments are cosmetic grade, that are sterilized and purified for cosmetic use. We do not use products that have not met safety standards or those that contain “vegetable dyes” that are unstable and may change color after time. Sanitation is our number one priority. All of our tools are single use needles in a sterile and sealed package and are discarded after each treatment.

Are there any contraindications for  Microblading?

There are certain conditions that would prevent someone from receiving microblading services. Individuals who are younger than 18 years of age, pregnant or nursing, or have a tendency to form keloids should not undergo the procedure.

Additionally, it is not advised to receive microblading if you have any skin conditions in the eyebrow area such as birthmarks, moles, acne, scars, swelling, rashes, burns, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, sunburn, or broken capillaries.
